Assalamualaikum
I am an editor of a Muslim Electronic Free Magazine, IBRAHzine.com which published monthly dakwah e-zine in Malay language (Malaysia). As a regular visitor to your website, i have found some stories which i'm very interested to publish in my e-zine. I hereby ask for permission to translate the stories to Malay language. Of course I will give a full credit to your website. For your information my e-zine is a free zine which contained dakwah message from some Muslim freelancers and currently in progress to finish the third volume.
If you permit me to do so, please let me know and I will be very thankful for that. |

Dear publishers of this Web site,
I want to thank you for the wonderful information you have provided on your Web site. I am a believer in God, formally a part of a Lutheran Christian Church, and a Sunday School teacher for kids between 6-13. For many years now, I have struggled with understanding the fundamental differences between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam - since we are all worshiping the same God. I found your Web site to be incredibly informative.
My favorite statement is in your first paragraph: "Yet, unfortunately, Islam is also the most misunderstood religion." I have, myself, found this to be true. Most people I speak with, even good, educated, Christians that promote peace and tolerance, assume that Islam is a violent religion encouraging its believers to use violence against non-believers. However, based upon discussions I have had with Muslim friends, this is far from the truth. In fact, a very good example of this came last year when a Muslim friend of mine was the victim of a hate-crime (somebody through a huge rock through the windshield of a car parked in front of her house) because she is Muslim. Whereas I was horrified by this, and incredibly angry at whoever could do something like this, my friend encouraged me to "pray for him - he has a problem with hatred". She taught me much about forgiveness through that experience... I then carried that message to my Sunday School class later that weekend.
Thank you for providing this information and helping me further understand Islam. |
